Join us on this samurai-based tour where you will learn all about the history of samurai, do traditional indigo dyeing, and even try your hand at sword training yourself.

This half-day tour will allow you to immerse yourself in traditional samurai culture and get the experience you have always been looking for!

Step 1
After learning about traditional samurai patterns and their spirit, you will experience dyeing the patterns. Making tenugui
Step 2
Wrap a tenugui around your head and learn about samurai from their appearance.
Step 3
1 minute walk to Samurai Dojo
Step 4
Learn what is serious and what is iaido and watch a demonstration of serious.

【染と刀剣~サムライツアー】

侍をテーマに伝統的な柄の型染めを体験し、侍の歴史について学び居合にも挑戦してみましょう。

この二つの体験は新宿落合の隣り合った2つの施設を巡って体験できます。

ステップ 1

手ぬぐい作り

きもの・帯の染工房である染の里おちあいにて、伝統的な日本の模様とその精神について学んだ後手ぬぐいに模様の型染を体験。

ステップ 2
装束や精神、侍について学ぶ。

ステップ 3
居合道場まで移動、徒歩 1 分

ステップ 4
真剣とは何か、居合とは何かを学び、真剣のデモンストレーションを鑑賞。

ステップ 5
模造刀で立ち合いを学ぶ
