Don’t worry if you’re a beginner. Our professional koto musicians will teach you kindly and patiently, ensuring you can enjoy the experience even if you have no prior musical knowledge.

You will start by learning the basic techniques of playing the koto.

As you get accustomed to the feel of the strings and the movements of your fingers, you’ll begin to appreciate the beautiful sound of the koto.

Then, with sheet music in hand, you’ll try playing your favorite anime songs and hit tunes.

The sound of the koto will bring a new charm to these songs, making your performance truly moving.

Once your performance is perfected, you can record it and share your impressive playing with friends and family. Everyone will be amazed by the beautiful sound of the koto. 【Instructor Profile】

Miyave - Professional Koto Player

From the age of four she learned how to play koto, Japanese traditional string instrument.

She performed at the Budokan and NHK Hall, and she became a master at the age of twenty.

After that, she participated in NY Carnegie Hall as a member of a performance group.

Obtained the teacher’s license, parallel to her activity as a musician in lives and concerts, she plays and teaches as a volunteer at elementary schools and local facilities, contributing to the revitalization of Japanese culture.

She also experiments with other musical instruments and new forms of koto music productions using DTM.
