事故、事件、盗難、破損、汚損、悪臭等が発生し、車両の修理や大掛かりな清掃が

必要となった場合の貸出不能期間に対する営業補償の負担金となります。

自走して返却予定場所まで戻った場合► 150,000円（非課税）

自走できず、返却予定場所まで戻ってこれなかった場合► 200,000円（非課税）

３）無免許運転による事故

４）飲酒運転による事故

５）無断で借受期間を延長した際の事故

６）使用・管理上においてお客様の責任が認められる場合

７）無断で示談をした場合

８）免許取得3年以内のグリーン免許の方が運転をされていた場合

9）天災（地震・津波などによって生じた）

10）その他、貸借約款に掲げる事項に違反があった場合

CDW waives your responsibility for paying the deductible amount regarding any property damage and/ or vehicle damage in the event of an accident.

※ All drivers who will operate the vehicle must be declared at the time of rental.
A copy of each driver’s license will be required.

*Windshield damage caused by flying stones is not covered under the Collision Damage Waiver (CDW). Optional coverage is available for an additional 500 JPY per day.
This system is optional, so we highly recommended to secure your travel with additional safety.

*NOC will be charged even if you are enrolled on CDW

In case the vehicle becomes inoperative for any trouble or accident such as incident, theft, damage, stain, or odour that occurred during the rental, we charge the borrower extra to compensate the business loss of not being able to rent.

1) When the accident is not reported to the police (when there is no proof of accident)

2) Accident caused by a driver who were not registered at the time of departure.

3) Accident due to unlicensed driving

4) Accident due to drunk driving

5) Accident when extending the rental period without permission

6) When the customer's liability is accepted in use and management.

7) If you make a settlement without permission

8) If a green license within 3 years of obtaining a license was driving

9) Natural disasters (caused by earthquakes, tsunamis, etc.)

10) In addition, if there is a violation of the items listed in the rental agreement

SERIOUS TRAFFIC OFFENSES 

We want you to be safe!  Please note the following offences will result in a fine and/or imprisonment in Japan.

1. Driving under the influence (Drunk Driving) – Imprisonment up to 5 years and/or a fine of up to 1,000,000 yen.
2. Speeding over the limit – 30 kph over the limit – Imprisonment up to 6 months and/or a fine up to 100,000 yen | 15 kph over the limit – Fine up to 9,000 yen
3. Use of any mobile device while driving – Fine up to 9,000 yen 
4. Parking in an unauthorized location – Fine up to 18,000 yen

IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY / ACCIDENT

We truly hope that there is no emergency during your vacation. However, in case of an accident, please use the following steps below.

1. Do not move the vehicle!  Immediately turn the engine off and check your surrounding for safety before leaving the vehicle.
2. Use the equipped triangle sign and flare and place it behind the vehicle.
3. DIAL 110 for police & DIAL 119 for an ambulance if anyone is injured.  If needed ask people nearby for assistance.
4. File an accident report with the police officer and take several photographs of the damaged vehicle.
5. Call our main office to report about the accident.  (*All accidents must be reported properly to allow the insurance coverage to be effective for insurance deductible) 

The driver will be fully responsible in the cases listed below

• ・When the accident was not reported to the Police (accident certificate is required）.
• ・When the driver who caused the accident has not registered as a driver.
• ・When the driver was not carrying his/her driver’s license when the accident occurred.
• ・Accident caused by the driver’s drunk driving.
• ・Accident that occurred after the original rental period, without extension.
• ・When the driver himself/herself is responsible for the damage.
• ・When any negotiation occurred without our witness.
• ・When we found other violations of the conditions written in our loaning clause.
