Notice of Start of Student Discounts

Sakamoto Library will start offering a student discount from 4/27. The regular admission fee is 3,300 yen, but students may enter for 2,300 yen. We hope you will take this opportunity to visit us.

*Students who have already made reservations for April and May, please present your student ID to our staff when you arrive and we will pay the difference in cash.

Since Sakamoto Library is a very personal exhibition, it is not open to the general public at large, and its location is undisclosed as well. Therefore, we will send information about the address of the library to those who have completed their reservations via e-mail. We also have several requests regarding reservations. Please read the entire text carefully and agree to it before reservation.

●Request for confirmation of your e-mail settings

Reservation confirmations and other information will be sent by e-mail to the e-mail address registered at the time of the reservation process. If any of the following settings are in place, you may not be able to receive our e-mails. We kindly ask you to check your e-mail settings before completing the reservation procedure.

１｜You do not have the " noreply@reserva.be " address specified reception or a domain specified reception settings in place.

２｜ Restrictions for URL-containing e-mails are set in place.

３｜Settings are in place to restrict e-mails from other computers.

４｜Spoofing restrictions are set.

●Reservation Slot

•Reservations must be reserved in advance (one 180-minute session/visitors will be admitted in shifts).

•Reservations limited to one per slot.

•Reservation number is valid only once for each person.

●Reservations

•Reservations must be made by the person visiting the museum.

•Reservations are confirmed upon payment at the time of reservation.

•You will be sent a "Reservation Confirmation E-mail" after your reservation is confirmed.

●Reservation changes and cancellations

•Please note that once a reservation has been confirmed, the date and time cannot be changed.

•Cancellations will be accepted until the day before the reservation. Cancellation after that will result in a cancellation fee of 100% of the admission fee. No cancellation fee will be charged.

•The purchaser/person who made the reservation is responsible to complete the cancellation and refund procedures after the reservation has been confirmed.

•Please complete the cancellation procedure using the "Cancellation Form" that will be posted in reservation e-mail.

•Please note that cancellations cannot be undone.

•If you cancel your reservation, the price of the ticket will be refunded through your credit card.

•After submitting a cancellation request, a confirmation notice will be sent to you by e-mail.

●Rules of Sakamoto Library
At Sakamoto Library, we have a set of rules to ensure a smooth and pleasant visit. Please read these rules before visiting the library.

•Please follow the terms and conditions of use at the time of reservation, other rules posted in the library, and guidance provided by the staff.

• Photography in the library (including covers and spines of books) and the taking photos or communicating information that identifies the location of the library are prohibited.

•Your baggage will be checked in when you enter the library. We ask that you take care of your own valuables. If you wish to leave the library midway through your visit, or if you need your baggage, please let us know at the counter. Even in the event of damage caused by theft, loss, or damage to checked baggage, the maximum amount of compensation we will pay for damages is 5,000 yen, except in the case of intentional or grossly negligent acts on our part.

•You are required to order at least one drink per visitor at this facility. Please place your order at the counter during your visit to the library.

•You may enter and leave the library midway through your visit as long as you plan to return within the scheduled time slot. Please notify the counter in such cases.

•Please enjoy one book at a time.

•You will receive a book dummy upon entering the library. We ask for your cooperation in placing the book where you took it out and returning it to its original location when you have finished reading it.
•Talking in the library is prohibited. If you need to talk, please leave the library temporarily.
•Smoking is prohibited in all rooms of the library.
•Wi-Fi and power supply are available.
•Books and merchandise will be available for sale. If you wish to make a purchase, we would appreciate your cooperation in making your purchase within the time allotted for your visit.
•Please note that you may be asked to leave the library if you violate these rules or if we deem your behavior to be disruptive to other visitors.

●Requests when visiting the library

In accordance with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's policy on measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 after its reclassification as a Category V infectious disease, we will implement basic infection prevention measures so that everyone can visit the library with peace of mind. We ask for your cooperation in the following.

•If you have a cough, sneeze, runny nose, etc., please be considerate of other visitors by practicing coughing etiquette, etc.

•Please refrain from loud conversations in the museum.

•Staff members may be wearing masks in some cases.

●Initiatives and measures against unauthorized resale of admission slot

At Sakamoto Library, the resale or transfer of books for commercial purposes, or any purchase or action leading to commercial gain, is prohibited. Admission to the library with illegally obtained reservation slots or reservation slots that have been found to have been resold will not be permitted. If cancellation is unavoidable after the cancellation acceptance period, we ask that you cooperate with the authorized resale at your own responsibility.
