SHIBAURA HOUSE is a community space open for families in the area as well as for office workers and international guests. Our 1st and 2nd floor spaces are open to anyone for free, functioning like a public park. During lunch hours you can see a variety of office workers and neighbors enjoying their time. We run more than 100 cultural events annually, ranging from regular programs such as workshops for children and English classes, to lectures given by international guests. In recent years we have organized events that have focused on human rights and social issues in collaboration with the Dutch embassy in Tokyo, and also opened the ‘Relations’ co-working space. As a result we have widened our activities and community outreach.
